This presentation will focus on the challenges of replacing a railroad bridge that carries one of the busiest rail lines in the Chicago area over I-294; one of the Illinois Tollway’s busiest corridors. The session will feature the engineering innovations used to maintain schedule and coordination efforts needed with the local agencies and the railroads to successfully complete the project.
