IL Section Geo- Institute & AEG Joint Dinner Meeting

The Illinois Geo-Institute is pleased to officially announce our next event, a joint dinner meeting with the Chicago AEG on Tuesday, January 17th. The meeting will feature a presentation by Brandon Curry, PhD, of ISGS on the topic of the “Overflow History of the Glacial Chicago Outlet”. This will be a great opportunity not only to network with your G-I friends and colleagues, but also get to know the excellent group at AEG, all while taking in an informative presentation. The event will be held at Emmett’s Brewing in Downers Grove and kick off with a social hour at 5:30, followed by dinner and the presentation. Attendees will order off the menu and pay their own bill, with a $15 minimum. Parking is free or the restaurant is only a 3 minute walk from the Metra. For those who cannot attend in person, an online streaming link will be sent out at a later date. 1.0 PDH will be provided to attendees upon request.
