EWRI, in conjunction with the UIC student chapter of ASCE, is hosting a presentation on the Brandon Road Lock & Dam. The Lock & Dam includes multiple layers of structural and non-structural deterrents designed to prevent the spread of invasive species, including Asian carp, now referred to as COPI, from the Illinois Waterway into the Great Lakes.
