IL Section ASCE Summer Social Picnic (Rain or Shine)

Who: Open to ALL IL Section members and their families (significant others and children)
What: BBQ, soft beverages, outdoor games, and kid-friendly activities
The IL Section is happy to announce our first in-person event following the COVID-19 pandemic, the IL Section Summer Social Picnic. Please join your fellow colleagues at this FREE event to get back to socializing while enjoying summer weather, food, and outdoor games. Catered food & beverages (non-alcoholic) will be provided for all members who register and attend this BYOB event. A variety of outdoor games will be present for all ages.
COVID has hindered the fundraising ability and efforts for our Diversity & Inclusion Committee’s Scholarship Fund and we hope you can help! 50/50 Raffle tickets can be purchased at our Summer Outing, with 50% of the proceeds going directly to the D&I Scholarship Fund and 50% going to the winner of the raffle. Cubs tickets will also be included as part of the 50/50 raffle. You can purchase raffle tickets in advance via the registration link on 123signup, or you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in person the day-of. You must be present to win, the drawing will take place on August 7 at 4:30pm.
Every year, the IL Section D&I Committee sponsor minority high school juniors for the University of Notre Dame’s Introduction to Engineering Program.
