Special Events
On July 15, 2011, SEI Illinois Chapter hosted a tour of the Wacker Drive construction project in downtown Chicago. A video is available through the ASCE National YouTube page, highlighting some of the interesting aspects of this unique project.
On June 14, 2008, the Structural Group sponsored a tour of a steel plant in Gary, Indiana. About 30 members participated in the tour. Special thanks goes to Industrial Steel Construction (ISC) for giving a tour of their facility.
